Frequently Asked Questions
-
I work with wholesale investors, high net worth individuals and family offices seeking comprehensive solutions across wealth management, corporate advisory and commercial real estate. My clients range from seasoned investors looking to diversify into alternative asset classes through to successful professionals and business owners who lack the time — or simply the inclination — to manage their own portfolios.
-
In Australia, you generally qualify as a wholesale investor if you have net assets of at least $2.5 million or gross income of at least $250,000 in each of the last two financial years, certified by a qualified accountant. There are other pathways too, such as investing $500,000 or more in a single product. Wholesale classification matters because it opens access to investment opportunities that aren't available to retail clients — including many of the private credit, private equity and hedge fund strategies I work with. If you're unsure whether you qualify, that's one of the first things we'll clarify in an initial conversation.
-
I provide access to both traditional and alternative asset classes: Australian and international equities, managed funds, hedge funds, private credit, private equity, venture capital and commercial real estate.
This includes a number of funds that are invitation-only and not accessible to the general public.

Three things. First, my advice non-conflicted — I'm not incentivised to push in-house products. Second, I keep costs low, including brokerage. Third, I focus on genuine access: many of the strategies I recommend sit outside what a typical retail adviser can offer, particularly across private markets. My interests are aligned with yours — my practice grows when your portfolio performs and you stay with me for the long term.

The first two meetings — an initial strategic consultation and the development of your asset allocation strategy — are complimentary and carry no obligation. Beyond that, fees depend on the structure of your portfolio and the investments involved, and I'll always set them out clearly before you commit to anything. Transparency on costs is a cornerstone of how I work.

It runs in three steps.
First, a complimentary initial consultation where we assess the risks and merits of your current portfolio and discuss the macro-economic backdrop.
Second, a complimentary asset allocation strategy session, where we design a portfolio built for the next three to five years considering liquidity, capital preservation, volatility, income yield and target returns.
Third, implementation and ongoing support — I manage the transition into the new plan and conduct regular reviews to assess performance, make adjustments and keep you across market developments and new opportunities.

I regularly assess performance, rebalance where needed, and discuss new opportunities as they arise. I am also only ever a phone call away. I keep clients regularly informed on market conditions, news and global financial data between reviews, because I believe an informed client makes better long-term decisions.
